Because YOLO; I would rather say "Oh well" instead of "If only"

After much dilemma, I had decided to join a dance battle with my budz & friends. Battle details stated that it encourages battle virgins to try out, and that's why. (Ended up, we were the only freshies there LOL). HAHA. Was kinda last minute thing, I was stressed, watching popping videos the night before and hoping to get inspirations. Well, I suck at popping. I started popping way longer than locking. I went for a class, learnt Fresno & basic pops, stopped for one or two months, went for another class, and stopped again. By far I guess popping is the hardest to learn :( . Anyway, I still screwed up my auditions for SVFU. I was so nervous & I see everyone getting the feel from the music. And me, I am not feeling the music at all. I was doing locking. The song was suitable, but I was damn nervous. Budz told me I kept doing scooby doo. Yup. I knew it. In classes, I learnt the basic fives but I clearly remembered not using much of the basic fives in my audition. I have my expectations of my standards (Not high standards; I just want to make full use of the basic fives) Sigh, I didn't. But, it's my first audition to battle beyond SF. It's cool I guess. A new experience, and many things that I had learnt & want to improve on. And after the auditions round, we were all watching the battles. I was so stoked by the amazing popping variations and stuff omg. I was really inspired to learn my popping well even if it's hard (and sometimes I wanna not focus on popping). Just wanna go slow & learn the basics like boogaloo etc. Till the day I can do freestyle popping! &&& not forgetting, I also needa drill my basics & variations for locking too. *sobs* I wanna do well in locking because I really love locking.

Attended Brendan T's workshop yesterday in school. Oh damnnnnnn I was fangirling so badly. (MAJOR FANGIRL SINCE SDD VOL5) He's an inspiration and I guess, I will add him to the list of my inspirations & dance idols alongside Quest Crew! His shoulder isolation drill & demo of incorporating the shoulder isolation into dance moves just makes me wanna work hard to get to just half (or just even 1/3) of his standards. Yay, my passion in hiphop is reignited! Time to attend more hiphop classes & psycho-ing my friends to join dance because dance is such a fun thing :3

Dope dancers just inspires me more. & 29/09/2013, I attended my first hiphop class. So, a year of dance experience I guess? But I am a slow learner, but ain't gonna give up just yet. More years to come!
